實驗室簡介:
  本實驗室主要研究巢狀病毒目中造成豬隻生殖及呼吸綜合症(PRRS)之豬β-動脈炎病毒屬(Betaarterivirus)、造成仔豬下痢α-冠狀病毒之豬流行性下痢病毒PEDV及貓傳染性腹膜炎病毒FIPV在流行病學病毒致病機轉、疫苗研發、病毒次單位應用試劑開發及結構分析。此外,也建立豬腸毒型大腸桿菌(ETEC)、PEDV及PRRSV在實驗豬隻攻毒模式,可作為疫苗及生物製劑開發抗病確效研究使用。
  本實驗室也協助共同訓練病理專科獸醫師及豬病獸醫師,因此對於臨床小動物及非犬貓外科病理、野生圈養動物疾病解剖診斷、豬病診療、蝦病診斷及研究之相關主題皆有相關涉獵。
