Postdoctoral research positions (DVM or PhD) are available immediately in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine, School of Medicine, University of California-Davis to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying focal adhesion molecules in tumorigenesis. Examples of recent research can be found in J. Cell Biol. 176:43, Nat Cell Biol. 9:961, Cancer Res. 68:7718 & 69:4583. We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow with expertise in anatomic histopathology and general pathology preferably in mouse models of disease to analyze transgenic/knockout mice generated in this laboratory. Desirable qualifications for this position include skills in H&E, IHC and frozen sections; mouse histopathology experience. Other postdoctoral fellows (PhD) with strong background in cell & molecular biology and/or biochemistry are encouraged to apply.
